iPhone Air For those who paid using Amex for the pre order

Do you see the charge(s) pending? Order went through fine and I have an order number but it doesn't show as pending on Amex. Another order I placed with Apple Pay (which is set to use my Amex) DOES show as pending on my Amex.

This is normal. Don't stress.

They usually charge your card when they are close to shipping. In past I have seen it charged a day or so before shipping

No, I'm saying that that it doesn't even show Pending. It doesn't show up on the card in any way. The order I placed using the card info doesn't show up in any way, the order I placed with Apple Pay shows Pending. It's odd. I was just curious if anybody else is seeing this.

Used my Amex via ApplePay and it shows pending in my Amex app. Regardless, as long as you have an order confirmation from Apple and it’s showing in your order history I wouldn’t worry.

My card never shows a charge or pending until "preparing to ship". I won't be there for a while since I ended up with a 9/29 date🥲

Mine shows pending and I paid via Apple Pay. Also mine showed 9/25 delivery date and then was changed to 9/19. I was ‘charged’ almost immediately too.
