I have a 7+ linked to my S3 LTE watch, on AT&T. No issues exept for the, ahem, supposed $10/mo.

I'm thinking about an iPhone X. For those of you who have had one phone linked to the watch and switched, how easy was it to switch using the carrier process?

(Not really concerned with additional fees as I'll argue with AT&T about removing another setup fee from my high revenue account, and they will remove it as they have done with every new phone fee.)

Any issues replacing the phone used? Thank you!

It's really easy because you can reset/unpair your Watch without removing its data plan.

Just be sure to select "keep data plan" when prompted.

Then when pairing with the new iPhone, you will see "mobile data is ready" when setting up - there is nothing else to do. :)

Cool, thanks.
