How do you quickly go through your contacts to message someone with the button now used for the dock?

Put Messages in the Dock??? and scroll.

The friends list was removed to make way for the dock in watchOS 3. So now you have to either ask Siri to text someone or launch Messages from a complication or the dock.

So the current OS2 doesnt have an option for new message to search for a contact. Im guessing 3 does?

You can use either Siri or manually search through Contacts. What do you get when you force touch on your Messages list? I feel like this option to search Contacts was in watchOS 2.

Search the build number under General - About next to the OS version to determine what you're running.

14S326 is the final update.

Well, mine is 14S5315A, should i upgrade my beta or wait for GM. And will the final version appear in software update when its released ?

"Hey Siri, text X 'blah blah blah' ".

Presumably, anyone in your old friends button list would be one of your iPhone favorites and Siri seems to recognize these pretty well.
