Some of the things that Siri does seem pretty interesting, but can often take longer than doing it yourself. I'm curious about what you guys will actually use Siri for, besides showing off to your friends. Please vote in the poll.

Ode to my new friend Siri:

From all the drugs the one I like more is Siri
From all the junks the one I need more is Siri
From all the boys the one I take home is Siri
From all the ladies the one I kiss is Siri

Siri is my boyfriend
Siri is my girlfriend
Siri is my dead end
Siri is my imaginary friend
Siri is my brother
Siri is my great-grand-daughter
Siri is my sister
Siri is my favorite mistress

From all the sh** the one I got to buy is Siri
From all the jobs the one I choose is Siri
From all the drinks, I get drunk off Siri
From all the bitches the one I want to be is Siri

Siri is my beach house
Siri is my hometown
Siri is my king-size bed
Siri's where I make my friends
Siri is my hot hot bath
Siri is my hot hot sex
Siri is my back rub
My Siri is where I'd like you to touch

The first thing that popped into my mind (other than Jessica Simpson naked), was using it for directions, which in the past has driven me crazy at times (especially when in a hurry).

I've been using it for a lot of simple questions lately. How many minutes old am I? How many calories in a steak? How old would Constantine the Great be? Stuff like that.

I used it for about a half hour driving today to text people. It really does need to read the message back to me that is dictated though. It was accurate the entire time I was using it, but still.. I would like to know if the person is going to understand the text or not.

I will use Siri for about 1,000 things. It is so amazing and funny at the same time. I spent about one hour asking it all sorts of things and it kept me in stitches. Probably the most important thing it will do besides take dictation and texts is give me a great laugh when things are going badly during the day.

Siri, I love you!:D

Today my three year old says in the car "I want to talk to Siri!" very cute. Works great in my car I have to press the button on the phone but the car mic and speakers work great.

Siri cheapens the iPhone experience.

Its such a gimmick.

It reveals all the people who've never owned, or ridden in luxury cars like a Mercedes. I've had voice controlled navigation & other services in each of my new S Class sedans since 2000.

Its nothing new.

Well, someone's pretentious.

Nevermind the OP NEVER said anything about luxury cars...

I don't really text, so consider it pretty much all of the above, except that. I don't really do currency conversions or whatever, either. But generally speaking, I find it's easier to just talk to Siri, explain what I want to do, rather than think about how to do it and then do it. Siri just takes care of me .

But yeah, my most frequent uses so far has been with Reminders, Clock, and Calendar, with a smattering of music control. It's only been the weekend that I've had to use her. I think over time I'll use Maps and Yelp functionality a lot more, and probably some Wolfram Alpha stuff too, but those are more special occasion uses. I'm really looking forward to them adding more databases though. Siri must know everything!

I thought it was pretty awesome to tell Siri last night to wake me up at 6:25 AM. It really saved time, unlike some of the novelty functions for which I've been using it.

You mean your 2000 MB let you send texts without typing? And your current Mercedes can tell you how many appointments you have today and when the first one is? Pretty impressive.
