iOS force 3g switch on/off

I'm creating an application where I'd like for the program to force 3g on/off. Is there a command that either can retrieve the 3g switch's current value and switch it, and/or just force the value to a 0 or 1.

You wouldn't be able to release it, it goes against the agreements you "signed" when you downloaded the SDK.
