I'm trying to force backup my iphone 7 to itunes. I tried an icloud backup on my iphone 7 and it says I don't have enough local space to do the icloud backup. I'd prefer to just do it on my computer anyway, but I only see the option to restore from an old backup or setup my phone as new. Pls help. I just wanna get my stuff off this phone and put it on my new one. Thanks!

Are you on macOS Catalina? If so, attach the iPhone to your Mac using a USB cable, then go to this screen in Finder and click Back Up Now. Check the box above to encrypt it also. That will make a backup on your Mac you can use to restore to a new phone.
