Gotta think this is a Big Sur issue, since it didn’t happen with earlier OSes:
Using a Mac mini (2018) with a monitor connected via the HDMI port, plus three additional external displays — two connected via adapters to TB3 and one connected via an adapter to USB-A. (These additional displays are not operator-facing displays.)
On boot, the Mac always wants to display the login window on one of the two TB3 displays, not the operator’s monitor connected via HDMI. Yes, operator’s monitor is the primary display in System Preferences.
Is there some way to force the login window to display on the “correct” display on boot?
