Force-Quitting Apps on 3GS

Is there a new way to force-quit apps on the 3GS? It's been missing since the 3.0 beta and I was figuring that the official 3.0 release would bring it back. But, as Voice Control is implemented in the same way force-quitting was on 2.x, I haven't found any way to get out of a frozen app. Anyone found a solution?

Yes. As has been posted multiple times since 3.0's release, hold down the power button until the slide to power off screen, then let go and hold the Home button until the springboard appears.
