Force quitting programmes - damaging?

Hello,

I've been playing Sims 3 a lot lately and today I purchased Sims 3 Seasons. This particular expansion pack is known to have issues and can freeze on occasion.

By pressing Alt, Cmd + Esc to force quit to the program, is it safe for my iMac. It won't damage it at all over time?

It will not damage your hardware or software, I have used that command hundreds of times since 2004 and a dozen Macs with no damaging consequences.

No, you shouldn't have any issues with force quitting.
