Here is a strange request...
Is there a way in macOS preferences to force websites to display the short-date (e.g. mm/dd/yyyy)?
Every day I am PDF'ing web pages for my business, and lately I've noticed the NYT and WP display an annoying date format like "Today @ 10:35 am" or "Yesterday @ 7:05pm"
The problem is that I need the full-date in the PDF so when I go back and reference a news article from a year ago, I know WHEN it was written. (And I can't go off the "save date" because the "save date" and "article date" aren't always the same.)
I am assuming this is a server-side website thing, and there is nothing that I can do on my end. However, it never hurts to ask!
Am currently running Sonoma, but this is really a question for any OS.
I notice in Finder that everything I saved today (e.g. video downloads) says "Today at <some_time>"
Am hoping this is an easy Preferences change?
