I know there are light, medium and hard settings for Force Touch.

Anybody else finding that even on the light setting, you have press uncomfortably hard to active force touch?

I haven't got mine yet. Just playing around with a few in my local Apple Store.

I'm finding the space bar/3 fingers more comfortable to use.

Maybe I need to be more brutal with it!

I also think it's hard to click. So I switched it to light and it seems better now. I guess it depends on how strong you are.

I found the "light" setting to be too light for me. It was pleasant at first, but I found myself accidentally force-clicking when I meant to single-click, and accidentally single-clicking when I didn't mean to. Are you sure you tried the "light" setting?

when you say "activate force touch" do you mean how hard you need to click? Or how hard for the harder press? I LOVE the click and how you can do it from all sides of the trackpad. It's perfect to me - Force touch does require more... force... and I dunno. I haven't found much use for it yet one way or another so too early to tell.

It takes a little more force than the air, but I use tap to click and rarely need the haptic clicks.
