Hi all

Has anybody experienced this or know of a solution ?

I'm on 10.10.4 (upgraded from 10.10.3).

Recently, when resuming from a longer period of sleep/standby (such as overnight), force touch will stop working when resuming in the morning.

It still registers the force click, but no force click actions work, toggling force click in settings on and off has no effect.

I can either log out and back in again, or reset - then it's back to normal.

Have tried PRAM and SMC reset.

So weird - suspect it's software related somehow, or maybe BetterTouchTool hijacking something - will continue to problem solve.

Got the same thing happening every so often. I'm pretty sure BTT is kinda responsible. Closing the screen then reopening solves the issue everytime for me.

Thanks buddy - will give that a try next time. All evidence is pointing towards BTT ...

Take it in to Apple. They have replaced my touch pad twice because the force touch quit working. Now they are replacing my rMB as the force touch has failed again.

Are you running BetterTouchTool?
