I just updated my MacBook Pro to the newest version of High Sierra and the trackpad feels a bit different. I feel like I'm going crazy, so I wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem, but for a normal click it feels relatively the same as I remember. When I click with two fingers for a right click though, the trackpad feels much more solid than before, like it's barely moving at all, whereas before it really felt like I was clicking it in. It still works fine and everything functions as it did before the update, but I feel as though something was changed in the software as to how the vibration motor responds to touches.

I'm having the occasional issue where force touch just stops working completely. Everything works apart from the haptic feedback but its horrible without it.

I don't have any mechanical problems with force touch, but the force touch lookup feature simply doesn't work for me. I just gave up and switched it to the three-finger press in settings.

[doublepost=1513041188][/doublepost]I feel the same too. The click feels more firm than before. To be honest I feel the keyboard also sounds a bit louder than before
