Force Touch trackpad unreliable in Safari

Performing back gesture (two finger from left to right) is very unreliable in Safari. This gesture works 99.9% of the time in Firefox, but only 60-70% of the time in Safari on my 2015 rMBP. Anyone with similar issue? Don't tell me Firefox has better support for Apple's trackpad gesture than Apple :(
