I have a MacBook Pro (silver keys) 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo model#A1226 running OSX Lion 10.7.4. Memory: 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 128 MB.

I randomly receive a gray screen which states that I must hold down the power button and restart my computer. After doing so, the below error is what is reported. Does anyone have knowledge of what is causing this? It doesn't happen every time I use my computer, but usually after I leave the computer for a bit then come back to it.

One thing I see is you have Sophos antivirus installed. I recommend that you avoid using Sophos, as it could actually increase your Mac's vulnerability, as described here and here. You don't need 3rd party antivirus software to protect your Mac from malware.
