forcing internal hd to sleep ?

hi

i have replaced the superdrive of my mini by a hd

settings are already done in power management to put hd on sleep when inactive

the first hd is usually on use because the system is on it

but the second hd is only used for storage

it doesn't go on sleep before about 20-30 minutes

and as soon as i open the finder, it goes on again

is it possible to keep the first hd on use and to force the second hd to go on sleep manually ?

All connected drives will spin-up when you go to Finder. Finder needs to know where it can save or read files to/from, so it accesses all connected drives.
