I need to be on a LAN via ethernet in Windows XP and on a wireless network for internet in MacOS X. After combing through the VMware forums, someone lead me to this article: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/mi...KB_1_1&dialogID=64829219&stateId=0 0 64825794
So basically it says I can edit that file to force VMware to use en0 (which by doing an 'ifconfig' looks like it is the right adapter).
Problem is, OS X will only use whatever's highest in the "Service Order" in Network Preferences for its internet connection. When I change the order so that Airport is first, VMware will use Airport for its connection even though I forced it to en0 in that config file.
Any ideas?
