Ok, so I'm moving abroad for 7 months. My laptop, my girlfriend's and our airport express need their own adapter. The problem: what Apple only sells the "World Travel Adapter" kit that has everything for every country. We don't want to buy three of them for only one type in each package. Any ideas what we can do?

As long as the above devices all have 110 - 240 power supplies, just purchase a U.S. to "Abroad" plug. Radio Shack sells them cheap. If for some reason a device is only 110 power, then you need something different (power converter, which can also be purchased at Radio Shack (make sure you get the 50Watt unit, and not the 1000+ Watt unit, unless you like to fry your equipment.)
