I use Sherlock (Mac OSX) for translating a lot. Does anyone know how to insert special characters like these for instance: éçáãÀ; without going into the Edit > Special Character menu?
because Sherlock wont translate it unless it has the correct accent marks.
Right now I'm doing Italian so I wont be using a great deal of accents this semester, but when I was doing French this would've come in very handy. Also I've got Spanish in my future as well.
Is there a list of keys to hold to type special characters?
Back in the day (when I used Windows 95 ) if you hold alt and ctrl or and hit a key or something like that it'd produce an accent version of that key. Does OSX have this?
