forgot firmware password :(

So, Like a complete idiot - I can't recall my firmware password (to boot into bootcamp, format, etc) - I figure - hey let me make it slightly complexed so no one can get into it if it's lost - including my "smart self".

I'm hoping there is a way to recover - rewrite - or something so I can get into it and change it to something a little more "simple" to remember (for myself)

According to this you need to alter the amount of RAM in the machine (add or remove some) then

"Turn on the computer and immediately reset PRAM by holding the Command-Option-P-R key combination. Press the keys until you've heard two successive startup sounds.
Open Firmware password protection should be now disabled. Shut down the computer and return it to its original RAM configuration."

Sounds unlikely but if it works...
