Forgot Main Password to G5 Tower ..

I have a friend who forgot his main password
for his G5 Tower.

Is there any way to get into the System without
Nuking it ?

Boot off of your installer DVD and Reset Password.

Failing that single user mode.

and scroll down to the "Resetting the original administrator account password" section, where the procedure is all spelled out.
