Forgot Passcode

I had to set a new passcode a while back on my Watch and forgot what it was. I have been unlocking my unlocking my iPhone first, but after the watchOS update this week, it now requires a passcode to unlock.

I read through the macrumors post today. How do I check if I have a back up before I wipe the watch? Do I lose all my Activity data?

The activity are saved on your iPhone which when paired again will re-sync them to your watch.

Passcode isnt required on the Watch. You can remove the passcode if you remembered it or erase the Watch only.

I haven't bothered to read that post yet, but unless something has changed, your activity data is stored on your iPhone/icloud so losing or wiping your AW won't matter
