Forgot to logout user during update 26.1. Now login with black screen

During the update to 26.1 I forgot to logout the second user account. After the update when login in with that account the screen shows up black. My account works normal. Any guidance how to proceed would be appreciated.

Try rebooting and logging in with second user account in Safe Mode.
