Woke up at 5am this morning and preordered my series 7 watch. By the time I got to it, shipping had slipped but in store still had a launch day pick up so I went with that.

However I realized after the fact that I somehow completely missed the option to trade in my old watch. I started a new order to see where it shows up in the process and I see why I missed it as it’s kind of a small section. But anyway by this time in store pick up was unavailable.

My question is do you think I can do the trade in when I goto to pick up the order? Would they let me do that.

You should be able to do trade in store

They might send you a kit to mail it in.
There was specific text during the preorder that said they will not accept trade ins in store.

Take that with a grain of salt though, I preordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max and wanted to trade in my 11 Pro Max and they said I couldn’t trade it in in store. The mail in kit never came, I went in to my local Apple store and did it no problem.

A bit more cumbersome, after pickup, while at the store,"return" the picked up item, and repurchase it with trade in. Most reps will accommodate. The credit for the return may take a few days to be credited on the credit card. Assuming you have plenty of credit, this will not be an issue

The alternative is trade In For gift card and use that for band or whatever. But they should be ok with returning then re-buying the same watch. You just need to be able to get to a store.

That’s what I figure I’ll need to do. Thank you!
