A friend forgot the password she used on the iPad for "find my iPhone."
She had not downloaded the "find my iPhone" on her iPhone 5, yet.
What can she do? Thanks!

It was automatically set up when they set up the iPhone.

Not necessarily, it offers to set up one, but you can skip the process.

But it is the same as the password for your iCloud account, which most people also use for their iTunes account. Just go to iCloud.com on a computer and I think there is a "forgot password" link somewhere.

If you skip then Find My iPhone would not be setup?

Ummmm, Find My iPhone is an iCloud service, so if you didn't set up an iCloud account, then no, it wouldn't be turned on. But it's possible to set up an iCloud account only, without getting an iTunes account. So what exactly did your friend do?
