Hi

A family member recently forgot an important password and hasn't setup a security backup.

The password is stored in their keychain on their macbook air and iPhone - is there anyway to retrieve it from this? They have admin rights and the password etc.

Thanks in advance!

Very easy from the Macbook. Login to the account then open Keychain app and scroll down to the entry you want and double click it. In the box that pops up checkmark "show password" in the lower left then enter your login password in the box that comes up. The password will be revealed in the box at the bottom.
