Forgotten Password-What should i do next?

hi everybody.
i have an old apple imac g3 with mac os x on it. however i have forgotten my password and i dont know what to do next as i have not used it in a while!
could someone advise me on how to let me back into my computer.

If you have an OS X disc that will work on that computer you can reset the password buy booting off of it.

Single user mode works too.
