I have problems installing a new internal HDD in my macbook core duo 2 (mid 2007). I have searched for solutions to a problem trying to make a partition and it shows an input/output error. The thing is that other people had these issues with the same version of the macbook and it seems the problem is in the start cd (grey one in this case OS X Tiger) I wanted to do the new formatting using OS X Leopard but my computer came with Tiger installed and I got only the upgrade version of Leopard.
The thing is that this problem is solved using the start CD of OS X Snow Leopard, which I do not have. (solution that I read in this forum)
What should I do since I can only get the upgrade version of Snow Leopard nowadays and not the complete start CD???
Maybe the problem is also solved using the start CD of Leopard which I do not have either....
Thanks in advance
