I have a 2 TB timecapsule. My TM is set to manual and I backup my MBA ones a week on average.
As it is I also included a external HD on the TC. My problem was/is that I could not backup both (MBA& EXHD) with TM as the HD was not os jouneled.
even though i only have one HD backup of 450GB on the TM and the MBA backups should only be minimal larger than 50GB i have only 0,9GB space left on the TC
My plan is now to delete both "Volumes" of the TC (timemachine backups & sparsebundle) and start completely fresh as my new exHD has now OS jounaled format and therefor could be included by TM.
I read one can"t format the TC but can delete all data, but HOW???
