Hi

I'm waiting for my first Mac computer : a Powerbook.
Meanwhile I bought a Lacie D2 Extreme 250 gb external drive. I formated it in Windows XP as NTFS. Made a backup of the files to copy to the Powerbook.
Will the Powerbook recognize the NTFS Windows formated drive ?
If not, what alternatives do I have ?

Thank you.

It should recognize it with some limitations. You will not be able to write to the drive only read. If you need the windows machine able to read it, you could go to fat32.
