Formatted drive to base OS and I can't restore

So I got this MacBook pro a1278 core i5 used and used disk utilities to erase the partition and now is has renamed itself to OS X BASE SYSTEM and now when I try to reinstall it says the drive is locked, tried using terminal but I'm a Mac novice please help

Have you tried using Internet Recovery? Power up the machine and press command+option+r.
