Im on holiday right now and taking advantage of the currency exchange rate. Anyway i have this problem...

I want to install an SSD into my mac mini, the SSD does not come pre-formatted into mac's format type (i think its gui extended or something similar).

How can i format this drive in mac format without a mac, all i have is my windows laptop and i dont know if it can format a drive for mac.

I have my mini but it only supports 1 hdd
so if i install the ssd first, how do i boot from install dvd?

Hold C while booting and it will boot from disc. Then from top bar, select Utilities -> Disk Utility -> Format it to Mac OS X (Journaled, I guess).

I'm not sure but I guess that if you just select install it will fromat it to HFS+ automatically

i only have a bluetooth di novo edge, will it pair up while booting or do i need to find my old dell usb keyboard?
