iPod touch formatting before selling...

I'm going to be selling my ipod touch to a co-worker in a few days, and I wanted to know what I should do to get my info off there(itunes store and personal settings). I do have the new 2.0 firmware on there now. Will my co-worker need to by 2.0 again after he syncs it with his own itunes?

Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase all content and settings.

in 2.0, this uses the same method as "secure empty trash" in leopard, from what ive heard
