formatting external mac hardrive for pc

I have a acomdata external hard drive that i have had formatted for my mac. now that i have a wireless net work, i want to connect it to my pc so i can just drag and drop files wirelessly though the mac from my pc.

How can I reformat my hardrive for a pc? or is formatting for one system instead of the other irreversible?
