Formatting problems with USB

I have transferred a selection of pictures from iPhoto but am experiencing a problem with my digital photo frame not reading the usb stick.

I have formatted a Transcend JF V30/1GB usb stick to MS-DOS(FAT32) in order to load pictures onto my Logik PF-A850 series Photo Frame. It won't load at all. My Maplin 2GB stick (same configuration loads immediately without a problem).
Does anyone know what might cause this please as I cannot seem to locate an applicable website for Logik Photo Frames?
