Hello Everyone So I have a question about formatting my macbook 4,1. First off I lost the cds that came with it but I have my Snow Leopard Install Disk and a clone of my hard drive and Time Machine Backups. What I'm trying to do is Partition my hard drive for Bootcamp but every method I have tried has failed. I have a copy of Windows 7 64 bit and plan to install that after this process....My main question is. Can I boot my macbook from my cloned hard drive, and use disk utility to format my hard drive. Than with that use the snow leopard install disk install and either restore from backup or restore from my time machine backups. Which way is better to restore from you guys think? Oh and also I know that this Macbook is not able to boot into snow leopard using 64 bit but will Windows 7 work fine? I have 4 gb of ram and i'm running an intel core 2 duo 2.4 chip... Thanks in advance for the input
