not conclusive, but kimi's in front! Somehow i don't think this is how it is REALLY going to end up...(and i voted for kimi tooo....)

I just can't see him winning Canada, the McLaren lacks the top end speed that's required, no... is essential for that circuit. Same goes for Indy... I expect him to back up front though for Magny-Cours. ;) Though I'm still pissed at Kimi and McLaren for their no-race-preserving-fuel-strategy at Silverstone as confirmed by Ron Dennis mid race. :rolleyes:

As a Ferrari fan I'd like to see Schumacher win the next 2 races, with 2 DNF's for Alonso, that'd close the championship up nicely ;) :D But... and even though I voted Schumacher, I'm expecting Alonso to win both races, my opinion on Alonso has changed so much since last season when he just seemed to be cruising, this season he's really on it... he's in a pukka car, with amazing reliability, he doesn't make ANY mistakes, and he's fast, I'd go as far to say that he's possibly the best driver in F1 at the moment.

Oh well, I find it a hell of a lot more interesting than watching Shoemuncher cheating his way round circuits (there goes my Xenophobia again :rolleyes: )

In the foot-race to the line that is after their cars blow up again.

And how come there are only 5 choices in the poll?
There could be a big 1st corner pile up and a Midland could win.
 
Whew, almost didn't find this thread because it wasn't called "The Canadian GP thread"...;)

Alonso is on right now, he'll win unless the pit crew screws up or his car fails him. Why is Fisichella even on the poll? I think we've already passed the point where people were taking him seriously.

I want to see Scott Speed finish in the points for real this time.

I won't be able to watch the race but I hope Schu and Kimi at least give Alonso a good fight.
 
No its not much of a championship fight.....

But if you were watching closely it could have easily been Kimi's race if his car was working right and the pit crew did its job. If not for the clutch problem that led to both of his stops taking twice the time they were supposed to Kimi would have had a great shot at this thing. I think after hearing Kimi say he has given up on the drivers championship this year and after seeing his teams performance today, I think I can safely say there is no way he will be at McLaren in 2007. They have let down the greatest driver in F1 at the moment one too many times.

Raikkonen might be about the fastest when all things fall right for him similar to Peterson in the 1970's.

However you dont exactly build a team around you with immature petulant mumbles and steering wheels out of the car hissy fits.

Raikkonen might be fast but the BEST driver in F1 other than M$ is Fonzo.

Next year should be could as the Ferrari might be alot harder for Raikkonen's ragged style to break and Mclaren can start rebuilding with Fonzo and hopefully Lewis Hamilton.
