I just got an email that someone had tried to access my acct 5 times with an incorrect password. Anyone else ever get this? I just signed up last weekend so don't know if this is common.

I've done that on certain forums then remembered my user name was different. So it could be an accident, however unlikely with your user name.

I had this problem three days ago. Changed my password and I can log in again, but now Safari won't remember my login info. Have tried all the usual remedies (clearing Keychain, clearing Safari cache, passwords, etc.), but still can't get remembered. It is a nuisance to have type login and password each time.

I haven't tried logging in though. My info was saved from this morning. I have been hitting refresh a lot but the ip address in the email is not what comes up when I check ipconfig. I did send an email to moderators.

also could be somebody with a similar name, and mispelled it.

In any event, no real big deal if somebody hacks an id on this message board. After all, they would only be asking a question that has already been asked 5.489 times in the last few days.
