Something odd happened today:

Person A, who is a non-iPhone user forwarded me a text message.

The text message was originally from person B, also a non-iPhone user.

When I received the text message on my iPhone it showed up as sent directly from person B. (e.g. No "Fwd" in the text or any mention of person A.)

I discovered this because when I replied to person B and they basically said, "what are you talking about?" It wasn't until later that person A said to me "I forwarded that message to you" and all this came together.

Anyone seen this happen before or able to reproduce this error?

Other pertinent info is as follows:
Both person A and B were non-iPhone users, on Verizon and listed as contacts in my address book prior to this situation.

Thanks for your input and putting up w/ all the "A" and "B" insanity! :D
