I mainly use my G4 Cube for old games and playing background music with iTunes now, with the occasional TenFourFox session just to be amazed that a 21 year old computer can still internet (to a degree.)
BUT I have finally found a purpose for it! My 4 year old is learning to read, and he showed an interest in learning to type. So I fired up Word 2008, and he's happily sat there a few times in recent days trying out his new letters and words, without the risk of accessing dodgy websites, deleting my important files or getting crumbs/drinks on my $2000 Macbook Pro keyboard. It's nice to see it being used, and every time I see it am reminded how much I loved that era of Apple, from the way the hardware looked to how simple and stable OS X was.
