It smells like the owner was a heavy smoker. Do any of you know or have any suggestions on how i can remove the scent of stale smoke and cigarettes? I heard that there is a possibility that the smell may be permanent.

I would hate for this bag to go to waste.. knowing I got it for $15... when its worth about $175. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Ozone. It neutralizes odors. It can also be toxic. :p

FTR, quite a few air purifiers and filtration systems emit low levels of ozone. So that's one option.

Fabreeze the crap out of it, and let it set outside for a day or so. Then repeat.

Ozone is the best way to go though if you can find a machine to do it.

These people responding to your post are ridiculous. I have the answer. Start smoking!

I kid. Try whats convenient, febreeze, wash it if you can.

Nice find!
