I called one of the local Apple Stores (Clarendon, VA) this morning and was told that they had "very few" in stock. I swung by during lunch and picked one up.
The greeters and clerks seemed surprised that they were there, and I was told that they had to go back into the recieving room or something to get it, and that it might not be in the system yet (it was). Old ones were still on the sales floor, which surprised me.
So, start calling...
