I just turned on my MBP after a couple of weeks. I previously had all contacts synced via an exchange server. I left that company but before I did, I exported all contacts to single VCF files and then once I was removed from the exchange server, I dropped them into Contacts on my computer. They synced on that computer (iMac and across all of my mobile devices) but all but about 20% of my contacts (my most used ones at that) didnt sync.
I know this because in iMessage, that same 20% isnt visible (only phone numbers). I've signed out of iMessages on my MacBook, restarted the computer, and tried all I know...Why would some of my most frequently used contacts only show up as "Found in Apps" within Contacts?
