Found old G4 in garage need advice on upgrades please

Hi everyone,

I found my old G4 in my garage it has been packed away for a long time. I want to upgrade it to the max and use it for music and photo files. I know it might not be worth upgrading but this computer means a lot to me and I don't care whether its worth it or not.

The computer is a G4 Mirrored door.
Specs:
1GHZ G4 with Apple Cinema Display
1.25GB RAM
60GB HDD
DVD Player

This is what I want to do:
Max ram out to 2GB
Up HDD to 500GB I want to remove the old HDD its too loud,
Upgrade to a DVD/CD-RW
Install a wireless card
Install extra USB ports
And if POSSIBLE upgrade the graphics card.
I will be installing ubuntu 10.10 afterwards.

Basically I just need to know what type of HDD and memory I need to buy or that is preferred in the PowerMac G4?

I know I can upgrade everything by myself as long as I know I have the correct equipment.

That is too much for a 32gb SSD...
