Found T-Mobile HTC G2 phone. What to do?

I have found a T-Mobile HTC G2 phone, in a parking lot. I have found a gmail address in the phone and emailed that address, and also left a voicemail on the phone, in case the guy calls in to check his messages. He hasn't called, and hasn't replied to my email.

What would you do?

Take it to the nearest T-Mobile. They should be able to match the phone's number to a customer.

You could try checking his recent destinations in the navigation app.

I don't know about the USA but in Australia we hand it into the nearest police station to where you found the phone. They would then attempt to contact the owner, who would assumable pick it up.

If they haven't claimed it within 3 months I believe the phone is yours to keep.
