13" unibody macbook pro
specs:
2.53 GHZ core 2 duo
4 GB ddr3 1066 ram
500GB 7200 rpm drive
no box is included, he said his daughter took it, but he has all the discs and cords

all for $900 :D, went to look at it today and it looked perfect. should i pull the trigger?

yeah the no box kind of deterred me, but he had everything, including a family pack snow leopard install... doesn't the 13" come with snow leopard? i think it was purchased in september

They do now, but I'm sure whatever one they have shipped with Leopard. I have the most up to date Macbook Pro and mine came with Leopard, so I had to get the update disk from Apple.

picked it up, the restore disk restores to snow leopard... popped in the SSD i bought from another craigslister (a pull from a macbook pro) and now im flying! can't really tell the difference between the 7200rpm drive and the SSD besides the boot times and the quick indexing for spotlight...

oh and i paid 200 for the 128GB SSD which was a MBP pull, (a $400 upgrade) so final costs (hoping i can sell the 500GB drive for ~70):

900+200-70=~1030 for a loaded 13" MBP that apple retails for 1899, sometimes i feel like i'm robbing people on craigslist!
