Four Finger Swipe for Expose has stopped working

Expose still works with assigned keys/etc.... but I use the four-finger swipe frequently and would like to know how to return it to normal, because now even though the four-finger swipe is enabled in the settings, it still doesn't work. I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.1 I believe?) on the Aluminum MacBook (my model was later renamed to MacBook Pro)

If it makes things easier for you to explain it to me, I ran Disk Utility and Repaired Disk Permissions to fix an issue with Safari.
