Hello!
I have a Macbook Pro (late 2011) and recently removed my Bootcamp-Partition with Win7 on it using the Bootcamp-Assistant.
Now I nedded to create a Bootcamp-Partition again (again using the Bootcamp-Assistant) to install Win8.
At first Win8 refused to install telling me that it could not install using EFI on a MBR-based system, later the installation failed at a late stage and the Win-Installer told me that some boot-parameters could not be changed (presumably in EFI-mode).
I finally managed to install Win8, but when pressing the Alt-key on startup my Mac now always shows four partitions (MacOS, Recovery, Windows and EFI-boot). As there is no need to show this EFI-boot-partition (and on my first Bootcamp-Installation of Win7 I never saw it), I suspect I messed something up on my HDD partitions?
Aside from this everything works fine.
Do I need to fix something or can I hide EFI-boot again?
Thanks
