I recently noticed that itunes playback is choppy.
I can mostly fix it by playing around with the screen frequency. (24, 25, 30Hz)
it would help to know the fps of the movies in advance. how do you find out the fps that a movie in itunes is played in?

Film and (almost) all current moves are shot at 24fps (or 24Hz for digital).
