Fraction Capability in Word 2004

Is Word 2004 capable of making professional looking fractions? With a superscript numerator and subscript denomonator separated by a backslash?

I'm embarking on a technical writing job and don't want to fumble around with Keyboard menu. Lots of numbers to be punched out and I want to go fast.

Thanks. That sure doesn't seem real straightforward. Do any of the later versions of Word a direct keyboard controls for this sort of formatting?

(I'm running a PPc Mac with Leopard, so I'm limited as to what kind of upgrades I can make)
